OT: Boy, Dallas getting crushed.

That should officially put to rest the Wentz-Prescott debate. If the Eagles win Sunday they are up 5 with 5 to play. That wouldn't clinch it?
It’s possible that then Dallas could win out and philly could lose out resulting in the application of different tiebreakers.

But it’s over. Seriously, this is the earliest I can recall a team winning a division. Wow.

Just about. I believe Dallas only has one divisional loss, so if they theoretically win out, then maybe the next tie break is conference record? Not sure where they sit.

But, the Eagles won’t lose out after Chicago, so it’s over. Just a matter of time.

conference record is the 4th tiebreaker.

TO BREAK A TIE WITHIN A DIVISION

If, at the end of the regular season, two or more clubs in the same division finish with identical won-lost-tied percentages, the following steps will be taken until a champion is determined.

Two Clubs

  2. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the division.
  3. Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games.
  4. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference.
  5. Strength of victory.
  6. Strength of schedule.
  7. Best combined ranking among conference teams in points scored and points allowed.
  8. Best combined ranking among all teams in points scored and points allowed.
  9. Best net points in common games.
  10. Best net points in all games.
  11. Best net touchdowns in all games.
  12. Coin toss
Three or More Clubs
(Note: If two clubs remain tied after third or other clubs are eliminated during any step, tie breaker reverts to step 1 of the two-club format).

  1. Head-to-head (best won-lost-tied percentage in games among the clubs).
  2. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the division.
  3. Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games.
  4. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference.
  5. Strength of victory.

I'll just say that Dak was one of my keepers in fantasy football this year

my team name was "Dak to the Future"

after the last 2 games, I changed it to something rather pornographic.

If the Eagles win Sunday and the Redskins beat the Cowboys next Thursday night...the Eagles would clinch the division on November 30th...WOW!

This will at least keep those Philly area bandwagon Cowboy Fans in check - what an insufferable group they are - couldn't find Dallas on a map but luv dem Pokes. Why?because they liked the cheerleaders as a kid which is ok by me but you would think you grow out of that - very lame.
