According to Intermat rankings, as the 6th ranked wrestler he's faced the 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 7 ranked wrestlers. He's lost to top 4 ranked guys, Valencia majored him. He's now beaten Mcfadden and Smith. He's also beaten Shatzka, number 11.

To be fair, he's got a minor point for PSU's out-of-conference schedule. But I basically give B1G schools a pass on OOC scheduling given the brutality of the in-conference schedule.
