Please help me understand. We defer. MSU takes the ball. We decide the endzone we defend. We choose the south end zone, so we run south to north. But the wind is out of the WNW according to the national weather service. Looked that way on TV as well -- out of the north. Did we screw up or is there another factor involved, such as making them score near the students in the 4th?

The choices made in the first half have no bearing whatsoever as to what the choices will be in the second half.

Penn State, having deferred in the first half, will have their choice of kicking, receiving or defending either goal to start the second half.

Can anybody remember a Penn State Defense this last decade that has so few Playmakers, so few guys that lay thumps on the ball-carrier or quarterback or make impact plays... I don't think there is one guy that is played this year that you could truly say wow he is legitimate... And that's a major problem

yeah that stuff generally won't carry you through an entire game.....as long as PSU gets their points

So QB run, Fake punt, and HB pass and they will score on next play. Dantonio is smart, goes for fake early in game, thus to keep close and create a dog fight throughout the entire game..pulling out all the stops.

Gentlemen, the 4th quarter vs Ohio State’ and this possession by MSU tell us that though they seem to be elite recruiters, though they are very hard workers, they are most certainly not an elite coaching staff, good certainly, but this kind of crap happens way too often to our team.
