Is there a link for this data? Here in Maryland which is predominantly democrat the counties that are gaining population are both democratic counties who gain mostly through Hispanics, and republican counties mostly through people leaving the democratic ones. If you eliminate the Hispanic influx then the growth of the state is generally swayed to to republican counties.

Republicans are in failing rural areas. The counties gaining population are all Democratic. Almost all Republican counties are losing population. Republicans haven’t won the popular vote since 1988.

Your narrative is complete bullshit
And the beat goes on.

An altered state
That’s the rub. For all the shade you throw at rural areas, which were decimated largely by union overreach and terrible Democratic and establishment trade deals, we have urban areas in this country that literally look like Bangladesh. And this is your definition of success? I lived in NYC for more than a decade, it’s a shithole now. Almost everyone I know has left. 75% of NYC public schools lost students this year and 25% lost more than 10% of their student base. It’s dying.

I will let you guess this American city:

First saw that photo and though it a pic of a junk yard. Thought....every city has junkyards.

Looking closer realized it is a homeless encampment 😥

Let’s play again. Name this city and it’s voting history.

If what @PaoliLion says (about himself) is true, then he epitomizes the problem that is destroying our country. He is the type that would live behind the security of a gated compound but then push policies outside the compound that create what you see in the photo above.

Then, because his income happens to be counted within the same geographic area as the "blight" depicted above, he then claims that his "blue" area produces the wealth, so they must have the right politics. As seen from his compound, all is well.

I doubt if he sees the above from his back porch, and I doubt that his neighborhood would welcome the people that created that mess inside their gates.

All part of the plan... spread the blue plaque and open the borders. One party rule is on the way.

You give the dolts too much credit. Plus, the majority of Americans reject woke violent lefties.

That is the Union Pacific railway in LA, which has been victim of a spike in cargo theft because of lax security and policing.

If you think that’s bad, I’ll give you a tour of West Virginia sometime and show you had fvcking little voting Republican has done for the state and the people.

So you will get off your ass an hire someone. Meanwhile, we are enjoying a huge difference in our effective rate that allows us to save more for our children's future....

How unfair, right?

Save for a future? We’re borrowing money against future generations to pay for our budget deficits, dumbass.

It’s worse in republican areas. The crime rate per capita in republican areas is horrifying. Third-world, shithole counties.

Presented without comment. This is in Pelosi’s district. One of the highest per capita incomes in the country. Rich, white liberals who can’t keep their streets clean and drug dens off the bus stop. All in the name of “progressivism”.

Small wonder. People living in the hinterlands don't want to put up with crappy health care from doctors like Administrator Crazy.

The hinterlands..... where fresh water is readily available......

That’s what I love about you republicans, you “don’t do data”, just good ole fashion propaganda and bullshit.

Well, data would show the opioid crisis did indeed emanate in “Trump” country, on Obama’s watch. Tens of thousands died annually. And Obama did nothing. No state of emergency, no plan. In fact, Obama was the first president in a generation whereby life expectancy went down during his term, mostly from the opioid crisis. This was before covid. Yet, when Hillary ran, she called these very people deplorables, and posters on this board call them white trash daily. This, after deals like NAFTA and union overreach decimated their communities, and politicians abandoned them.

So, these are often historically poor areas for which politicians told them it was their fault they are addicted to drugs or didn’t have a job (mind you, this is while our current President’s son was making business deals with China) all the while the FDA wildly supported Opioids for pain, The Joint Commission even called pain “the 5th vital sign”- and establishment politicians (and their families) of all sides got rich off pharma and foreign enterprise.

So here comes Trump, a bloviating businessman who told them he would try to help them, to get manufacturing back, that he would help anyone who wanted to work. And he did, mostly. Mean tweets, too.

Compare that to San Francisco, the most liberal zip code in the country- full of the very richest and “highly educated” liberals, all who supposedly are benevolent and want to help others- and you literally have drug dens at children’s bus stops, human feces on many curbs, and a petty crime rate that was enough to get the DA kicked out of office. So, you criticize others, but can’t keep your own street clean? You’re supposedly the side with all the answers and generosity…. Where’s the results?

If you were paying attention, you would realize that Trump was the man that oversaw a massive increase in overdoses during his Tenure. Again, focus on your data deficiency, because your rhetoric is about as empty as Trump’s spare ball bag at the end of 18 holes.

Synthetic opioids, mostly flowing across the border were responsible for the later wave. Now you’re finally building Trump’s wall, better late than never. He recognized the problem back then. You just figured it out…. maybe.

You should go spend your time figuring out how to claw your way out of the lower income brackets instead of trying to be a shill for the GOP.

Well, you’re the one now building it.
So what did Obama, or has Biden, done for the Opioid crisis?
