I simply refer to them as The Little People, since I was educated on this forum that Midget, Dwarf, munchkin and other names are politically incorrect. I am not sure why Dwarf is PI since Dwarfism is a medical term.

Correct.
But not all little people have dwarfism. So it's not that it's a PC/PI thing, it may just be an incorrect use of the term.
