new format for Phil's show works great

really like the txt message format for the questions. when people were calling in before, some would take over and act like they were part of the show. the txt format gets a lot more real questions of Phil.

spent time talking about the current depth chart. high need to recruit 3 OTs in 2022 class. solid in middle/C/OG. no depth at OT, like many teams. RB room strong - Cain return time uncertain. Lovett brings different dimension to RBs. pretty high on all the transfer portal players. talked about the Dangelo DT - very high on him. big issue at DE. need another from TP. did not mention Rambo or Lamb from TP. others can add.

It’s slightly better. The questions are no doubt pre-determined and very direct and to the point, so Phil can develop his answers in advance and give good prepared answers ~ and he also gets to answer more questions. It’s an improvement on what had become pretty stale,

Thanks for the short summary. It seems PSU needs the new portal DL players to play well for the defense to improve, and it seems Phil confirmed that the staff will keep looking for a 2nd DE from the portal.

Gotta hope that Trautwein has the three 2020 OT's more ready to play than what could be expected from past OL player development .....
