Okay fellas, lady fellas, we're about four hours out from NCAA Brackets being released. I want to hear your best guesses for seeds of the nine Penn State wrestlers. Whoever is closest to reality (cumulative number of seeds away) gets my undying respect and admiration for about an hour.

I'll kick us off

133: RBY - 1
141: Nick Lee - 1
149: Beau Bartlett - 18
157: Brady Berge - 13
165 N/A
174: Carter Starocci - 1
184: Aaron Brooks - 3
197: Max Dean - 1
285: Greg Kerkvliet - 5

125 Hildebrandt 12
133 RBY 1
141 Lee 1
149 Bartlett 14
157 Berge 11
165 N/A
174 Starocci 1

Who gets the 3/4 at Heavy in your opinion?

Steveson, Schultz, Cass, Hendrickson. Though maaaaybe you could flip 3/4
I talked to someone who watched Hendrickson closely. I thought he was a big time thrower with all his pins, nope, apparently he's mean on top and can just crank heavies over. Not sure I like that matchup for Greg if that's the case. I'd rather Parris. If Parris is the 6, I think he walks to the Finals unfortunately.

Going to be tough with his lack of matches at 157. Didn’t qualify for some of the criteria they’re supposed to use.
Yeah it would take the committee deciding he's way too much of an obvious bracket buster and that it'd be unfair to some higher seeds to see him 1st round.

Im not sold on Wyatt Hendrickson, he had a very favorable schedule to go undefeated. Not taking anything away from him but he has not really had to face any grinders to get where he was.

I think Hendrickson is a pretty great bet to AA but I have a hard time seeing him beat any of the B1G top 4 or Schultz.

Berge will be seeded where the coaches rank him, which should be right above Young around 10. If he is ranked 10, then he will win the seeding matrix against the 23 below him, as follows:

Berge Other guy
12.5 HTH 12.5 (except for Model, Coleman, and Young) where Berge gets 25)
15 Coaches 0
5 Conference 5 (except for the Big Ten guys and the at-large guys where he'll get all 10)
5 Common Opp. 5
0 RPI 10 not eligible
0 Win % 10 not eligible
15 Quality Wins 5 His wins over Young, Coleman, Model are better than most guys) Keating, Lovett
and Thomas are close.

52.5 47.5

Clearly behind Carr, Deakin, Teemer, Scott, Monday, O'Connor, Franek, Lewan, Humphreys.

His "record" is probably about 21-11 or 22-10

The above 9 should be seeded 1-9. From 10-15, it should be in some order, Berge, Young, Robb, Thomas, Lovett and Cerniglia.

Hendrickson is a quickness HWT. He scores NF largely with cradles and by converting shots into bottom leg turks.

Very good wrestler, but Kerk is the matchup problem.
