NCAA Replay Rule is quite clear - the b1g turd Director of Officials is making stuff up

The NCAA Rule is quite clear that a Direct Feed "coming directly from TV Production of the game" MUST BE PROVIDED IN THE REPLAY BOOTH (it goes on to say that "other video" means can be made available to the replay official, but AFTER it clearly states that a DIRECT FEED of the TV Production must be provided) - THE b1g TURD CONFERENCE DID NOT DO THIS OR PROVIDE SUCH A FEED, they only had their conference provided "replay equipment" which does not operate "directly off the TV PRODUCTION" (if it did operate directly off the TV Production they would have been able to switch the monitor to simply show the same thing we are watching at home which CLEARLY showed the ball bounce on the ground! As a matter of FACT if you listened to what the b1g turd director of officials said, the change the b1g turd officiating office made this year was to place a VIDEO MONITOR in the Replay Booth that operates directly off of the TV Production - a "Procedure item" that the NCAA Rule has ALWAYS REQUIRED and the b1g turd ignored in favor of only providing their own "other replay video equipment" which is not running DIRECTLY OFF THE TV PRODUCTION (e.g., it would be the "other video means available to the replay official" cited in the rule!) - that's if you believe the b1g turd's lame-o explanation! In other words, it was not the NCAA "Rule" or "Procedure" which was changed as the lame b1g turd director of officiating tried to claim - it was the b1g's non-compliant "procedure" relative to the NCAA Rule which was changed by ADDING a MONITOR in the Replay Booth CARRYING THE FEED " COMING DIRECTLY FROM TELEVISED PRODUCTION OF THE GAME" as per the instructions of the "procedure" in the NCAA Rule as it has always read.

Beyond that, the Director of Officiating's explanation is horse$hit and their made up excuse is almost certainly another b1g turd lie (e.g., a monitor capable of broadcasting the "Live Broadcast of the game" was almost certainly always available in the Beaver Stadium Replay Booth - the b1g claiming otherwise is just a typical zero-integrity excuse that they DIDN'T REALIZE at the time was clearly at VARIANCE with the NCAA Rule, so now they are claiming they are "adding a monitor" to all of these stadiums Replay Booths which almost certainly already contained such a cable feed and "monitor" in the Replay Booth already.). In fact, the b1g turd's language demonstrates how absurd their position is - the "monitor" is not what's important for gaining the "direct TV broadcast of the game" in the booth, what is critical is a CABLE FEED existing in the Replay Booth that any cheap-o HD digital monitor or TV could be hooked to! And the notion that the Beaver Stadium Replay Booth was not equipped with a cable hookup capable of broadcasting the live feed is beyond absurd and silly, but fairly typical of the lame-o bull$hit that this bushleague, crap conference comes up with for absurd self-serving "excuses" and "rationalizations". If Beaver Stadium is equipped with live feeds in the bathrooms, concession stand hallway, etc... I'm pretty sure there is a "direct feed" in the Replay Booth.

The other thing about lame-o Carollo's explanation which identifies it as a lie is the fact that he not only made the lame-o claim that Beaver Stadium's Replay Booth area of the Press Box is not equipped with a Direct TV Feed Hookup, but he then went on to attempt to blame ABC/ESPN by saying that the "video feeds to the replay system" (which would be part of the "other video views may be made available to the replay official" part of the rule) were not working properly during tests before the game started and continued to not work for the first "few minutes" of the game.... So let me get this straight, when the b1g turd conference was testing their "Video Replay Equipment", they were having "technical difficulties" with their equipment and rather than delay the kickoff until the "technical difficulties" were resolved (something that he admits only took a couple minutes), they kicked the game off knowing the Replay System was inoperable and experiencing "technical difficulties which ABC/ESPN were working on resolving??? Why was this not announced to the Crew Chief Referee, John O'Neil, on the field??? (the field crew clearly knew of no such thing - why would they call for a Replay Review if they knew the system was not working correctly??? Why would there be no announcement at the start of the game by the Referee that the game was going to kickoff without Video Replay and why would they send a play for Video Review if they knew it was inoperable and had failed the pre-game tests???)

The reality is that what the b1g turd is trying to sell makes zero sense and had the Replay Review System flunked pre-game testing, they would have simply addressed the problems and re-tested....and told ABC/ESPN to announce that they were delaying kickoff for a few minutes while "technical difficulties" are resolved with the Replay System and the Broadcaster's System??? Why would they kickoff without telling anyone, when the problem was clearly fairly minor as it only lasted a "couple minutes" by their own stupid lame explanation??? The more likely explanation of all these inconsistencies using Ochamm's Razor is that the b1g turd Referee, Replay Booth and now their Director of Officiating is lying and are fairly typical of the zero-integrity, zero-principle say-anything or do-anything out of raging self-interest b1g turd conference.

The last thing which demonstrates this lying out of self-interest and pitch the integrity of the game out the window quality of the b1g turd conference is the fact that their Director of Officiating is still claiming that the Play Clock could not be reviewed under NCAA Rules - absolute BS and another clear fabrication which is not what the NCAA Rule states. The NCAA Rules states that only egregious and obvious errors related to the Clock can be reviewed! In fact, there was a B12 Championship Game whose OUTCOME was literally changed when the Officials reviewed the Clock in regards to whether it was stopped on time and whether the game was truly over. The Replay Review of the Clock put 1 second back on the clock and the team that had been declared the loser prior to the review made a game-winning FG on the ensuing play after the REPLAY REVIEW OF THE CLOCK. So clear and egregious errors related to the Clock are most definitely "reviewable" under NCAA Rules contrary to what the lying b1g turd "Director of Officiating" said at the b1g turds media day suggesting that errors related to the clock are not reviewable - go figure!?!?

Bush.... send carolla a direct letter requesting an explanation. While your at it, ask why the ball spots are always in favor of OSU and Michigan when playing other teams. The left leg, right leg spots are horrendous.

What needs to happen is if someone takes the issue to court over a lost sports bet (might have to be rather large), perhaps class action for all who had something riding on that outcome. The goal is not to get a bunch of money from the B1G, rather to prove in court that the outcome of that game was altered intentionally by the conference.

You could then prove easily that this intentionally corrupt officiating contributed to a win by a team that ultimately took another conference's spot in the playoffs and therefore the Big12 could sue the Big10. Seeing that this team then took their illegitimate spot in the playoff and went on to win the national championship, it would prove the national championship to be a farce.

The real goal in all of it would be to force the B1G to rightfully be publically embarrassed about cheating for O$U and then you have leverage to force a corrupt organization to play by the rules or face accountability through the courts and the media.

BTW, here is the actual rule that specifies a Direct Feed Hook-up "provided by and coming directly from the televised production of the game" regardless if the conference wants to provide "other video means available to the replay official" :

171-500x294.

Here is an article that summarizes the BS and wrong statements made by Referee John O'Neil that are antithetical to the NCAA Rulebook and the b1g turd conference frontoffice defended after they were made and continues to defend with self-serving BS statements like the one recently made by b1g turd conference director of officiating Carollo just made at b1g turd media days:

Big Ten Referees Respond to Blown Calls in Ohio State Game

This excerpt was taken directly from the bottom of the article linked directly above:

UPDATE: As astute reader Jason points out, O’Neill’s explanation: “The feeds that the replay team looks at are the feeds you get at home. We can’t create our own rules. The replay rules are clear that we have to use the equipment provided. So, Tom (Fiedler) and the team reviewed what they had,” is just plain wrong. The crew could have used the in-house feed, which also showed a clear incompletion, to make the call.

Oh, are you trying to say that the b1g turd conference actually has to understand "actions speak far louder than words" especially when those words are unapologetic, self-serving, lies, obfuscations and rationalizations? What a concept, that you need to establish accountability and consequences to establish any form of credibility? Quite clear at this point that this schlock conference takes the same approach to its administrators and leaders (e.g., guys like Crew Chief Referees such as John O'Neil or Directors of Officiating like Carollo) that they do to everything else - zero-integrity, zero-principles, self-interested "if we achieve our ends, that justifies the means" including lying about your disgraceful cheating and supporting Officials like John O'Neil who proved they are disgraceful liars in regards to their comments after the game which were antithetical to the NCAA rules (as were Corollo's lame regurgitation and rationalizations of O'Neil's BS).

Did you miss the OR in the rule? What they do receive is individual camera feeds. Not the post production broadcast feed. Just because you think it was a simple to switch the feed doesn't mean it was. How familiar are you with the layout of a production vehicle? Are the feeds provided before or after the vision mixer? What switching capabilities do they use? Is the post production feed an DE15HD connection? Does the DVSport equipment used for replay use DE15HD connections. To make an assumption that it could be easily accomplished is a huge assumption. Secondly if they were to switch to the in-house feed how do they do that. The in house control room is located in Bryce Jordan Center. How do you get it to the press box for them to review?

c. All reviews shall be based upon video evidence provided by and coming
directly from the televised production of the game or from other video
means available to the replay official.

How do you prove it easily? Please provide this easy proof.

Too funny, so in this article, the writers effectively set up the cheating turds John O'Neil (Referee) and Tom Fielder (Replay Official) by interviewing them and then showing how their story morphed relative to what they said in public statements after the game. BTW, Fielder is the same Replay Official who was working the booth in the 2012 PSU-Nebraska where everyone, including the announcers, said Matt Lehman had clearly stretched the ball across the goal-line and the play would be reversed and called a TD, but 'Ole Tommy-boy Fielder rendered the opposite decision after reviewing replays! Guess who the on-field crew-chief Referee was that day? You guessed it, John O'Neil. This bush conference is too much with their never ending self-serving lies and unapologetic misinformation BS recreations. Here is the article - see link below:

Referee John O'Neill And Replay Official Tom Fiedler Talk Controversial Calls

See how the liars morphed their story from what they said after the game? See how Corollo then attempted to even cover for their clear lies after the fact at b1g turd media days? (Carollo claimed that ABC/ESPN/Disney owned some of the responsibility because the feeds were not working even before the game.....blah, blah, blah. The reason ABC/ESPN have never taken partial responsibility is quite clear from O'Neil's and Fielder's "morphed statement" in article above - the FEEDS WERE TESTED PRIOR TO GAME and ABC/ESPN was told they were working fine, but the liars claim that they somehow malfunctioned momentarily for a "couple minutes" that corresponded with the BS Vonn Bell "interception" review....but then started working perfectly again right after that.... The reason ABC/ESPN has never confirmed this nonsense because it is clear BS!! Now Carollo has morphed it one more time, claiming that the equipment never really passed the tests and was not working BEFORE THE GAME STARTED and ABC/ESPN is therefore partially responsible - what disgraceful self-serving, zero-integrity, zero-principle liars the scum of this bushleague conference are!

Also note that directly after the game, O'Neil's Crew claimed that the Replay Booth WAS GETTING THE SHOOTS WE HAD AT HOME, but the "other equipment" was not working correctly. He then also demonstrated that he is not only a liar, but does not know the NCAA Rule as it is actually written in the third question:

******************************************************************
Q: Then there’s no provision to look at the in-house feed then?

O’Neill: Right.
******************************************************************

Note, he does not say that an in-house direct feed of the TV Broadcast was not available in the Press Box (which anybody who knows anything about Beaver Stadium knows there would be a direct feed hook-up of the TV Broadcast in the Replay Booth portion of the Press Box which is almost certainly why the interviewer asked the question). When O'Neil was asked about using the in-house feed of the TV Broadcast in the Replay Booth, he said it was NOT PERMITTED BY THE RULES and that they could only use the "other replay equipment" provided by the conference. Liar, Liar pants on fire scumbag O'Neil and Fielder.

Since you know for certain that the in house feed is available in the replay booth located in the press box tell me where in the press box it is located. What type of connector it is and what type of monitors and equipment is used in the replay booth. Also lost length of cable and cable type they keep in press box to wire this feed you are certain they have. If you can't answer all those questions then you are making a huge assumption that it could have been accomplished in a short period of time to review the play.

Awe, I think Mr. "PSU_Nut" is foaming at the mouth. What's a matter little big turd hugger, you all upset that your lying, cowardly, POS officials are exposed as the zero-integrity, zero-principle dirtbags they are???
