North Central Arkansas. In the Twin Lakes region. Beautiful country! Reminds me of Central PA, just without the winter!

I agree and have said that many times. I have home on the Lake of the Ozarks in central MO.

Oh, and BTW - welcome to the board!!
Thank you! I have read this board for years. Posted a little bit on the On3 board because it seemed like the switch was a good starting point to jump in. I had filled out my brackets and this seemed like a f*n competition, so I thought I'd make my debut during Nationals week!

Waiting to confirm final team score to declare the winner…

131.5 was the final team score, I’m seeing on Twitter. That means @OzarkLion is our winner!

OzarkLion has won the right to make a post in this thread that all the contestants have to “like”! (Please keep it classy!)

Looks like I picked a helluva time to make my posting debut! Nights like tonight make me really happy to have been born and raised in Central PA so I could be a PSU fan! It amazes me the talent, grit, and humbleness our boys present, in wins and in defeat (just see this one much less often).

This year, we were given the best NCAA Championships in recent memory, and not just because we went 5 for 5. Starting on day 1 with all of the upsets, this truly is the most electric tournament in the world, and one that I mark my calendar for each year.

I was disappointed for some of the wrestlers who fell short, especially those who fell because of injury. Winning is always a little more fun when it is more competitive! But my heart goes out to guys like Kem, Eireman, and DeSanto (like him or not, he is one of the funnest wrestlers in the country to watch).

Hopefully, next year we can repeat, and hopefully a couple Little Rock guys sneak into the tournament. I live in Arkansas now, so I have been able to catch a few Duals (against OkSt and ASU).

Ohh, and for all the sky is falling folks, and folks who say that every match is stalling, shut up. Enjoy the wrestling. Be happy we just got to spend three days watching the greatest wrestlers in the country compete in the toughest tournament in the greatest sport in the world.

Looks like I have to go back to being productive at work on Monday. Until then, WE ARE!!!!!!!! NATIONAL CHAMPIONS!!!!!!!
