I think I would find a spot for Ray Isom in there somewhere. I believe he was the one who lit up Irvin early in the game that set the tone for our defensive back mindset. In the Big Ten Elite retro on that team, that hit is cited as the one that got them going early.

218 yards rushing for PSU in the 1982 Fiesta Bowl vs USC

psu skp is right to recognize Farrell, Romano, and Munchak from the 1982 game; as I recall, on Curt Warner's first touchdown run, there was not a USC defender standing; seems they all had been knocked down

Great OL already but maybe one of the 94 guys too? LAvar And Derek Fox in the 99 Alamo game. Disappointing season but defense crushed the Aggies that day

Leo Wisniewski spent a good bit of the game in USC's backfield. Seems the USC o-line was tipping off plays by their stance for either a run or pass play.

Love those '94 guys, but they were redshirt freshmen when we played in the '92 Fiesta Bowl. Fox barely played in the '97 Fiesta..

Isom would be a good choice for this list. Herring got the nod because 1) I rate his as the best FS in school history and 2) he had a whale of a game vs Texas in 1997

Besides, Isom is just too short (kidding, this is what Michael Irvin said before the game)

The hit that Isom laid on Irvin changed the entire complexion of that game. Without that hit, it's arguable we would have won that game, and who knows if Vinny would have thrown 5 INTS. That is one of the biggest plays in PSU football history.

Two names popped into my head (and yeah, my name ends in a vowel). Jimmy Cefalo and Chet Parlevechio. But Conlan and Giftopolous have to be on there.

Tyoka Jackson had a pretty good FB as well.

I remember Chafie Fields had a huge 80 yard end around and Brandon Short made a wicked lick on Ricky Williams in the ‘96 Fiesta Bowl

What about the current players that are also going to play in the Fiesta Bowl? Could any of them make your list?

So many good teams and players.
Shane vs. Miami & DJ' gigantic hole for a TD
Cefalo's punt return vs AZ St. - Matt Millen 18 tackles that day.
Chafie's run vs Texas
Brandon Noble vs Tennessee
Curt Warner dominating USC & Wiz was really dominating that day.
Booker Moore's run agains OSU
Personally i like the Buckeye beatdown, amazing what a neutral did, i was hoping for Mich as an opponent that day.
