Making a statement in his first game back in the SEC. QB throws for 620 yards and still time on the clock.

This was horrible game manage, ent for coach O. kick FG, go for onsides kick, hail mary... You have no other options down 2 scores and no timeouts with 28 seconds left.

Bo. Pelini. Defense??

LSU paid top dollar for that clown. Goes to show how they're willing to pay huge money for football stuff, though.

In fairness, they were missing Stingley who is hospitalized. And they have a lot of new guys in their secondary. And KJ Costello is a really good QB.

But that was embarrassing.

I wasn’t a fan of firing JoMo and hiring Leach, but Morehead wouldn’t have won that game.

MSU made the right move from a purely football point of view.

I'm not a believer in firing coaches after two seasons unless there's an ethical reason for doing so. But Leach was a huge upgrade.

They had one of the worst passing offenses in the SEC last year. They just tossed for 620 against "DBU" in Baton Rouge.

Imagine if Leach ever got teamed up with a great D coordinator. His offense is fun to watch, but sometimes sloppy and not big on ball control/ time management. If he ever had a stellar D to help make up for some of that they’d be a dangerous team.

His offense wears his defense out. Too little time taken off the clock because of the all the incomplete passes.
