NYC likes to brag about being a sanctuary city 🏙.

New York City’s Education Department is facing a logistical nightmare as the start of the school year approaches: registering potentially thousands of recently-arrived asylum-seeking kids for school in less than a month.

City officials estimate more than 4,000 migrants from Central and South America have sought refuge in New York and filled city homeless shelters in recent weeks — many on buses sent by Texas Gov. Greg Abbott.

fairfax county, va has been struggling with non citizen students for years...too many students, don't speak english, don't have a good academic background. Property taxes have gone up to account for all the additional costs....no end in sight as more migrants cross the border every day
The only way the problem gets addressed is for more and more states to come up with the same problems to where the issue gets more attention and those paying the taxes push back
