Davison is 7-1 losing only to Bastida. So it's working out with him.

Gomez is just now back. Griffith is 6-2 but one was a MFF loss. He just beat DeVos, so he's still a likely AA. We'll see how they + DeAugustino + Cannon hold up in March.

Also "the approach isn't quite working too well" depends on the goal. Getting all of these guys lets Michigan shirt a lot of talent. They won't be PSU in the next few years, but they're set up for a good run of team trophies.
