Mayfield

No.. This has been discussed many times on here.. What he did was pretty dumb, but he was taking some cheapshots from Kansas and they refused to shake hands at the coin toss.

I bet if Grier wasn't out for Wvu that Mayfield wouldn't be out for Ok.Too much at stake in this game but Wvu can't win it with their backup QB and OK knows it.

Well, it's just been announced that he won't start on Saturday. I couldn't decipher exactly how many series he's going to sit.
Just reported that he also has been removed as a team captain. Doubt that that means much. Only way Barkley has a chance is if he gain 300 all-purpose yards against Maryland and Mayfield does something stupid at the WVU game.

Too bad the game isn't in Morgantown, because no doubt there fans would very understanding and only throw compliments his way.

It’s a shame Grier got hurt this past week, WVU could have made it interesting on Sat.

Saw the play and his finger, thought they were just going to pop it back in place, maybe throw on some tape and he’d be ok. Unfortunately a lot more serious, hate to see anyone get injured.

Did Mayfield lose the Heisman with his actions on Saturday? Thoughts.

one of the voters is Heather Dinnich (sp?) and she was asked this question and said this has NOTHING to do with the Heisman. Booger was trying to suggest that somehow character is part of the Heisman, and she said no it is not. Mack Brown supported her by telling the problems of several previous Heisman winners - Winston, Cam Newton, Johny Football, etc.

they probably are where most of the voters are currently.

FWIW - Dinnich has given PSU and Barkley no respect all year long.

Mayfield is one class act.

Last February he was arrested for disorderly conduct, public intoxication, fleeing and resisting arrest. Yelling profanities as the police had to run him down and tackle him. Punishment “handled internally” by OU.

Then his stunt at tOSU midfield after the game.

Then his crotch grab and repeated profanities in Lawrence.

Anyone see a problem child here?
