Lots of surprise scores thus far today

UMD was getting some good ink but is losing to UCF. Miami is losing to Toledo at halftime. BC hanging tough against Clemson. Rutgers now leading Nebraska after a pick six. SC is tied with Cal. Purdue with a lead over Michigan. TCU leading Okie State at the half. Those games are far from over but they sure make for an interesting Saturday.

There has not been a lot of good football played around the country so far this season. A number of games expected to be blowouts have been close or even upsets.

The NFL should be very worried- seems to be a great deal more excitement in the college game than in the NFL as there seems to be an awful lot of one-sided games lately. The media were shocked that Thursday night's game in LA was a good one as so many of the Thursday night games are bad. Many of the Sunday games are not any better.
