The trophy is always on the line when Penn State plays Michigan State. It doesn't have to be the end of the regular season.

I'm really looking forward to our 2018 game, when we will finally have a fully developed O-line to work against what I assume will be another stellar MSU defense.

Certainly the ugliest, tackiest trophy in all of sport.

Some have said the Troll Trophy, awarded to the winner of the Concordia-St.Olaf game is the ugliest, but I think it's a beauty compared to that Land Grant piece of crap.

The series didn't become the big rivalry Joe Paterno and George Perles hoped for and even though we are in the same division it's not a end of the year game anymore. Nonetheless it's a game I look forward to because I know a lot of PSU grads and I always expect it to be a major challenge.
