I watched with fascination the last 1:42 of last night's game. In my mind's eye I saw late 50's/early 60's games at Baltimore's Memorial Stadium as John Unitas, Raymond Berry and (Penn States') Lenny Moore invented and developed what became known as 'the two minute drill,' the success of which depended upon timing-pattern passes caught by sure handed receivers who understood that the sideline was a 'twelfth man' playing for the offense. Johnny U passed away several years ago while Raymond and Lenny are still with us. I'm sure all were in front of their giant-screen TV's, nodding with approval as, by their performance, Trace, Saquon, Mike and Juwan paid acknowledgment to them and to the ingenious strategy they introduced to the game of football. BTW, Unitas, Berry and Moore played for the authentic Colts, not those impostors from the midwest.
