I know there's another thread that contains Last Chance Qualifier info, though it's broad and contains Olympic Trials info too. Thought a separate thread for today's action only was appropriate. Same for next weekend for the Olympic Trials, imo a new thread should be created. Enjoy today!

Vane Ness on 2, was about to get teched by Sean Fausz, makes it 8-4, then turns to make it 8-6 at the end of the first.

Ties it on a scramble, then gets a TD and two more exposure points. Drives out of bounds, then another TD. Then exposure of a Fausz single for the tech. 19-8. Real nice match.

Cenzo is listed as on deck on Mat 1, but I imagine he has more rest time coming to him than that.

Nope, Cenzo up on 1, vs Doug Zapf from Penn.

Cenzo had a leg, then slipped, but recovered for the TD, up 2-0. Step out makes it 3-0. Cenzo gives up a late TD and it's 3-2 at the break.

Cenzo works for a leg but settles for 1 OOB.
Cenzo Goes around for two, up 6-2.
Cenzo wraps up legs and gets a double, feet to back. Score is 12-2, not sure why it's not 10-2, maybe ref threw in some exposure points. Challenge brick. Challenge lost, 13-2.

I see that Gabe Dean, on mat 3 right now, is on the top half and Max is on the bottom, so they won't run into each other until the finals, if they do.

Guess I haven't followed freestyle enough ... Mark Hall Titan Mercury ?

Wow !! Excited for Van Ness

Who is the guy in the PSU jacket in SVN’s corner?

Almost looks like LG.

Edit: Pretty sure it’s Luke. Looks very comfortable talking to Casey.

Max Dean is not his brother. Struggling to put away 174lb DJ Washington.

Just remember: literally anyone in good standing with USA Wrestling can enter. If you make weight, you’re in.

I know folk & free is not an equivalent, but I went back to look up previous matches.

Van Ness has Zacherl next.
Way back in 2018
Nick Lee lost to Zacherl, 6-4
Zacherl was 29-3 that season.
