...in the PIAA Dual Tourney tonite in Nazareth...

...his team lost to Parkland...36-27...

...he had a Tech Fall...at 220#...Parkland moved Haddad up to 265# to avoid him...

...Jan looked super...he is about Caruso's size....but much quicker...

...would be great if he decides to wrestle somewhere down the line...

...but thas jes my opinion...

Yes he could make 197 as he is wrestling 195 this season. And he is playing football for PSU in college, not wrestling. But things could change down the road depending on his football progress

Re: Could he make 197 in college?

He'll be a walk-on for Franklin. Probably LB (though who knows, maybe safety if he's fast enough).

Once he hits a college weight room, he'll quickly out-grow 197.

If he wants to earn a scholarship, he'll focus on academics + football, will leave wrestling behind.

There was an article in the Reading Eagle the other day. It has been his life long dream to play football at PSU. He is all of 6'3 so as he lifts, he will easily be 235.....very soon.

He is a smart kid, dad is guidance counselor and mom is a judge......both were athletes at PSU.

He's projected as a LB. No way he plays safety. And as you say, he will quickly outgrow 197.
