well deserved. He really was one of our biggest weapons this year.
Most people don’t realize the benefits of a great punter till they’re gone.
He beat out a hell of a punter. the kid from Iowa has had an outstanding year as has tOSUs.
When I think back to the season, the one opponent player that sticks out to me is the punter from Iowa.
I mean, if just a couple times he didn't put it exactly on the one, we win that game.
He was an amazing punter and real asset on kickoffs. I think we did a huge disservice to him also making him kick fg's. all year. I feel the deep field goals are one thing, but he showed he wasn't consistent. What in god's name did Pinnegar do? I mean no disrespect to JS, but it was obvious that FG kicking was definitely a weakness for him.
+1. Some of us saw the punting of John Bruno and Ralph G. and what it was like Pre Gilliken. Many of us know the benefits of a great punter.
Back injury in fall camp is the rumor I heard.
