It is pretty disgusting that the cult eats these lies up.

https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/...-shameful-voting-rights-falsehoods-in-georgia

President Joe Biden’s speech in Atlanta on Tuesday was much more about suppression of the truth than it was about suppression of the vote.

Mr. “Unify the Country” Biden continued his party’s viciously and deliberately mendacious attempts to label more than half of U.S. citizens as enemies of democracy itself. Anyone who disagrees with Democrats' agenda or tries to insist on reasonable measures to ensure the integrity of voting is now an "enemy of the people."

It’s not enough to explain soberly but respectfully why they disagree with traditional measures such as requiring identification to vote. Instead, Biden and other Democrats must ascribe nefarious and imaginary motives to Republicans, equating GOP officials with virulent racists and insurrectionists.

When Biden and company spread this calumny — that Republican positions are not just misguided, but “sinister” — it is they, not the Republicans, who are un-American. Indeed, what is by reasonable definition un-American is New York City’s new law allowing people to vote in municipal elections who aren’t even U.S. citizens, a direct and ludicrous assault on the very meaning of citizenship, against which Biden has raised not a peep.

Whereas vast majorities of all ethnicities consistently support the voter ID requirements that Biden labels as being akin to Jim Crow laws, it is a lead-pipe cinch that most believe it is virtually insane to allow, for instance, a citizen of red China temporarily domiciled in the United States to vote in any U.S. election.

I'm guessing liberal with solid safeguards which they hate.
well, he and Obama campaigned on unity and being "nice". Yet, they've stoked race issues like no other presidents in US History. the riots in 2020 were a direct result of them stoking the flames of race relations while the democrat-led justice systems of each city suffered.

he learned from his friend Harry Reid, who, as majority leader in the Senate, stood on the senate floor and outright lied about Romney's taxes.
When questioned about the lie, Reid's response was "well, he didn't get elected did he" - meaning Romney.

He got his lie game on by delivering Harry Reid's eulogy right before he headed down to GA to save the Republic....

What a despicable POS Harry Reid was. Openly a crook who became rich only after becoming the gambling industries stooge in Congress. Lots of shady land deals in Vegas ....great to have "friends" with money... now he's lying in state in the Capitol......Holy Crap...

McConnell says Biden speech was 'incoherent, incorrect and beneath his office'

https://thehill.com/homenews/senate...ng-rebuke-of-bidens-georgia-speech-incoherent

But Biden, speaking in Georgia, argued that while he was an institutionalist, the Senate was broken. McConnell fired back on Wednesday, arguing that Biden got a mandate to "bridge a divided country, lower the temperature and dial down the perpetual air of crisis in our politics."

"President Biden has chosen to fail his own test," McConnell added.

More from McConnell, who nailed it:

“The President’s rant yesterday was incorrect, incoherent, and beneath his office… A President shouting that 52 Senators and millions of Americans are racist unless he gets whatever he wants is proving exactly why the Framers built the Senate to check his power. This whole display is the best possible argument for preserving the Senate rules that extend deliberation, force bipartisan compromise, and let cooler heads prevail. Nothing proves it better than this episode.”

Twelve months ago, this President said that ‘disagreement must not lead to disunion.’ But, yesterday, he invoked the bloody disunion of the Civil War to demonize Americans who disagree with him. He compared a bipartisan majority of Senators to literal traitors.

I wonder if @IIVI got banned? @BrandonRocks has moved in to take over useless, drone mode. No posts, just likes and laughs. Typical liberal, pussy, cowards.

You can change your "handle" at will. I hadn't realized that until recently. I was going to go with @Brandonsucks just for the fun of it, but decided against it. Just silly.

Why is a yo shocked he did this? This is the clown that told a black audience thatthe Rs “are gonna put you back in chains” ignoring the facts that it was the dems that FOUGHT FOR SLAVERY and the Rs fought against it. Race baiting is one of his favorite tools.
Not one board lemming can tell us why black people have trouble voting in Georgia.

Because they can only vote a month in advance? Because they can't remember the last 4 digits of their SS number? Because they can't be handed free food by DNC representatives within 50 yds of the voting booth?

The democrats bill is all about one thing. Making ballot harvesting legal in all 50 states. That way they can go door to door and "help" people vote. Seeing that democrats are concentrated in large metropolitan areas, it is a very easy way to collect votes.

Zuckerberg gave $430 million to help libs do that in major swing districts.

Going door to door cost a lot in the 26 states that already allow ballot harvesting...........

Biden Disgraces Himself

https://www.nationalreview.com/2022/01/biden-disgraces-himself/

Well, it looks like we’re headed for autocracy, then.

In his wisdom, Joe Biden decided to declare in his Georgia voting speech that there’s a crisis in our democracy that can be fixed only if the Senate filibuster is eliminated to rapidly pass two sweeping Democratic voting bills on narrow partisan votes, an unlikely prospect that already looks completely dead.

Democratic senator Kyrsten Sinema, in keeping with her consistent commitment, one that Biden was fully aware of before he headed to the podium in Georgia, said once again in the immediate wake of the president’s speech that she opposes ending the filibuster.

If Biden’s rhetoric in his speech is to be taken seriously — and it shouldn’t be — this makes Sinema the moral equivalent of Jefferson Davis or Bull Connor. Even Senator Dick Durbin of Illinois, a reliably left-wing member of the Senate, allowed that these comparisons might have been a bit much.

Could it have been the most vile speech by a national leader since Hitler?

The little president who cried racism

https://spectatorworld.com/topic/little-president-falsely-cried-racism-biden-atlanta/
Could be, though recently came across this gem from Harry Truman.

Screen-Shot-2022-01-14-at-10.31.01-AM.png

Some additional details:

Andrew Busch is Crown Professor of Government and George R. Roberts Fellow at Claremont McKenna College. He reached back to 1948 to find a case of a president rivaling Biden for vitriol and demagoguery.

Andy writes:

Without in any way demeaning Biden’s accomplishment, I would suggest one possible competitor.
Toward the end of his 1948 come-from-behind campaign, Harry Truman delivered a speech in Chicago on October 25 which rivalled Biden’s in its scale of sheer demagoguery. “In our time,” Truman said, “we have seen the tragedy of the Italian and German peoples, who lost their freedom to men who made promises of unity and efficiency and sincerity…and it could happen here.”

Truman suggested that Republican nominee Thomas Dewey was only a “front man” for a clique of fascistic businessmen such as those who propelled Mussolini and Hitler into power. Sounding amazingly like Joe Biden, Truman declared that “Republican leaders, of course, give lip service to the principles of democracy. But the Republicans preach one thing and practice another. The actions of the Republican 80th Congress opened the gate to forces that would destroy our democracy…This is not just a battle between two parties. It is a fight for the very soul of the American Government.” For the whole text, see [here].
