this was the question when they came to PSU - how would they deal with a pro style QB. remember people asking CH if he might transfer. he never would have come to PSU for JF.

now a lot is on CH shoulders - he still holds the ball along time.

at the end of the day, JF/Donovan need the QB to run 5-10 times per game and GAIN yards. their schemes depend on mobile QB not a pro style passer. The poor OL (it did not improve with another year) only makes it more difficult.

this is very tough, but they would be better off giving McSorley some reps, but it also has serious negatives for them in PR. what is surprising is that with the OL recruits that JF has brought in, it is amazing at least one of them is not better than the guys playing. if we accept the OL is going to be bad - then mobile QB is fundamental or some new scheme we have not seen.

if Tom Brady were at QB for us - would their have been any difference today?

It will be worse PR for him if he goes 3-9....he needs to do what he needs to do to win games especially against bad teams.

Not for nothing, but the game is 17-0 if Mr. Blameless even makes close to a decent throw with a receiver running free behind the defense. Then he throws what is for all intents-&-purposes a Pick-6 on a 2nd-&-2 play from our own 40 when the game is tied 10-10 to put Temple up 17-10.....but according to you he is blameless and the best QB in the NFL could have done no better??? LMFAO at some of you people - you're notion that CH is blameless in this loss is beyond pathetic.

What a bunch of B.S.! Any coach worth his salt knows how to make adjustments WEEK TO WEEK LET ALONE A YEAR AND A HALF INTO HIS TENURE. That Temple offense that just rolled us managed 8 first downs last year. And we steamrolled them in the first quarter today. What happened? Smart playcalling, coaching adjustments and toughness happened. Their offensive line looked hapless through the first quarter but they MANNED UP and took it to us. Meanwhile, PSU's OL surrendered as many sacks as we scored points. We are weak mentally and physically and our offensive schemes are a complete joke. Donovan and Hand in particular should both be on very short leashes at this point IMO.

Regarding Tom Brady, he completes passes within seconds of receiving the snap. Even against Hand's OL Temple would have trouble getting to him. Of course, this assumes adjustments would be made like Temple did multiple times today with the TE who just converted over this year from the DL.
