Why? I did see a social media post today saying that Poindexter is not 100% going to UVA and there are number of things going on within the Penn State Football program.

Probably referencing the OSU DC hire. But it wouldn't have killed the OP to elaborate.

There are multiple reports in the past hour that say UVA is now very aggressively pursuing Tony Elliot.
Probably in reference to the UNLV LB picking Michigan State....but truth is MSU was in on him way longer than Penn State was.

Good news. The likely scenario is that Franklin was waiting for the Virginia decision before offering Poindexter the DC position. They still would need to hire a coach as Pry was the LB coach.
