It is early in JFs career but at some point he is going to have to be able
to adjust a game plan during a game. This is a requirement of being a good enough coach to head up a top 10 -program. Right now, in this regard he looks Pop Warner. If it is his OC Donovan that is the issue, then JF has to make a hard decision. No knock against Temple, but their defense must have thought it was Christmas all game long and Franklin was Santa Claus and Donovan Santa's number 1 helper.

OL play aside..... The game plan (save the early scripted set of plays) was to play as much as you can into their strength and your weakness at the same time. It was Kafka-esk . No matter how absurd that was, it was even more absurd not to change the game plan as the game digressed and especially at the half. Did the rest of us have a half time and Donovan not have one? What exactly did the Offensive coaching staff do during half time....take some sleeping pills? Watch a rerun of Guiding Light?

Ruhle's staff adjusted their offense at the half and took advantage of a tiring PSU defense that just wore down from playing two games instead of one yesterday while Franklin's Offensive staff apparently was still on summer break.

Donovan might want to look at BOB's offensive scheme and adapt it to the personnel on hand...if he's man enough to do it.
