Impressionable Movies from Early Adolescence...

Jeremiah Johnson!
I wore my wife and kids out watching that movie. It is now a family joke with them. But I still watch it from time to time (alone these days, LOL) when I sense the need..... "Jeremiah Johnson, made his way into the mountains, he was bettin’ on forgettin’ all the troubles that he knew...."

Fast times at ridgemont high. Who can forget phoebe walking out of the pool. Can I get some damn privacy!!
Porkys,
last American virgin.

The Bond theme song thread brought back memories of seeing Dr. No; I was 12 and had not seen any movie like that before.

But the biggest reaction I had to a movie at that age was West Side Story. I had walked downtown alone on a Saturday afternoon to the Rahway Theater to see it, and I recall after the movie, I snapped my fingers all the way home. The characters in that movie were definitely "cool"! I can still here it,......"Boy...Boy...Crazy Boy....Keep Cool Boy!......"
And the fun couple of next lines,,,

"Got a Rocket in Your Pocket,,
Keep coolly cool, boy,,"

,,,cheers

Anyone remember the Wanderers?
Agree with the West Side Story sentiment. I believe its the best combination of choreography, lyrics and musical score ever.
