I see he released a financial report. Isn't that what he has been resisting to do for years? If so, why now, if not, what am I thinking of? Thank you!

The financial report issued is not a complete or audited report. They have been known to be 'made up' in the past.
What has been asked for are actual Tax Returns and Financial Statements both that are a lot more comprehensive than the required report you are referring to.

The hyenas and jackals want his tax returns, a very different thing. He has released financial reports before.

These are the things that hurt Trump. So many presidents before him released their returns. Trump has repeated many times that he is completely transparent, then refuses to release his tax returns like the presidents before him. How transparent is that? It's easy to be transparent when and act all righteous when you have nothing to hide.

Your kidding I hope. Romney gave millions to charity but because he had some perfectly legal offshore accounts he got roasted. Biden gave 35 cents to charity and no one cared. If you think DT returns would be viewed unbiased you are dumber than NJPSU or Paoli

The SDNY received Filthy Don's tax returns a week ago. I suppose they have been busy going over them.

I would like to see the returns of the long tenured House and Senate members. I am especially interested in how they managed to amass such wealth as humble public servants.

Of course Trump’s returns, if they ever are made public, will be dissected and roasted. Every President and Presidential candidate goes thru this. The electorate has the right to know about any and all conflicts of interest. Donald Trump is the king of conflicts of interest.

You are a centrist, so I am assuming then that, by saying this, you believe that your politics are half way between Trump and Biden. By bringing up this tax issue, if I could read between the lines, you are expecting to cast your vote based on character.

I see this a lot when I talk to people on the Left. They cite Trump's character flaws as justification for a Biden vote. The problem with this is that Biden's history as VP, and the use of that office to benefit his son, makes him every bit as unethical as Trump, assuming Trump's multiple bankruptcies are unethical and/or his tax return is unethical.

Biden's policies over the years have been merely political, changing with the direction of the wind. The dislike of Trump, by many, is nothing more than a dislike for the way he communicates, which for a POTUS, is without doubt rather poor.

So I tell people to vote based on policies. Trump's policies have benefited the wealthy the most while running up debt that will probably get paid back through inflation. It will be very hard to recollect wealth when it was invested in lavish estates and foreign factories. Those estates will need buyers with cash. This is what the Left do not understand. Long term, inflation is a net hurt on consumers, not the wealthy.

On the other hand we have Biden's policies, which are batshit crazy when we consider the people that will become his handlers. It's so extreme as to suggest slave reparations, among many other horrific policies, at a time that people are struggling through horrible circumstances. This is lunacy and will either cause much worse internal strife, or simply end the republic.

In short, people that would vote for this version of the Democratic Party also believe that money falls from the sky. This article, written by the "award winning" Nikole Hannah-Jones of the New York Times, says it all .....

"Reparations are not about punishing white Americans, and white Americans are not the ones who would pay for them.....And so, it is the federal government that pays."

    https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2020/06/24/magazine/reparations-slavery.html

Think about how STUPID this is, and this is the kind of logic we have of people on the Left. They are not rational. When they divide 500 million by 330 million they get a number that exceeds a million.

For the middle class, it's a choice between two bad choices -- one that is bad, and one that is really, really bad.

I have no idea what you are referencing. I don’t care, release everything. Can’t wait to see Donny’s college transcripts. I’d like to see the checks Fred C. wrote to gain Donny admission. The friend Mary Trump asserts took the SATs for Donny has passed so we can’t talk to him.

Of course you don’t. Not surprised your bubble hasn’t covered Biden’s refusal to release his senatorial records that likely have evidence that will authenticate Tara Reade’s claims.

Re: the SATs, tennis great Pam Shriver, the widow of Joe Shapiro, already stated her late husband didn’t even meet Trump until well into college.

Here’s the thing with trumps tax returns..
    1. He’s eternally audited
    2. He doesn’t prepare them himself
    3. There’s no one on Capitol Hill who would be able to analyze them better than the irs
    4. There’s bound to be at least one questionable item on those returns. Or, if not, dems would make a lot of noise about a specific deduction that was legal but in their eyes lmmoral.
    5. People voting for trump don’t care about his tax returns

Meh. IDK, the Tara Reade story doesn’t seem right. Have a go at it.
The idea of Donny paying some one to take the SAT for him seems plausible. Maybe Shapiro took the test, maybe he didn’t, maybe Trump’s niece confused Shapiro with some one else.
I do realize that not EVERY accusation against Donny can be true, but..... a lot of them are true.

Which means a lot of them aren’t! Some people seem to obsess over everything trump says or does. Some even seem to “know” what trump is going to do apparently before trump does. It’s an amazing skill

Yes. This is the correct answer. Eric can just say anything in this report...which is a report required of all federal employees. No idea why they needed to be late with it, but it is what it is.

It's more than about trust. I look at what he does versus what the alternative would do. It's not what a politician says. It's what they do.

Can you trust that Biden will do what he says? I'd say if he is honest then it would be a disaster for the country. What he wants to do doesn't add up.

He's going to create something call stagflation on top of hurting a lot of people that sacrificed and saved. He's going to create disincentives for good behavior. He's going to flip the country into being a bankrupt socialist state with autocratic power-brokers, and there will be no way to recover, because more than half of the electorate will think they are benefiting from some form of government handout or social program.

Do I need to list all of the disastrous policies again?

Look again at the stupidity of people on the left, like that NYT writer. These people are bananas, and they are going to have control of our lives.

Well, Larry King! Trump has made scandal so routine and commonplace that it’s hard to get excited about any allegations. Trump is so amoral, so incompetent, so anti American, so narcissistic and devoid of compassion, I can’t think of anyone I wouldn’t support if they ran against Trump. I’m any ABTer. Anyone but Trump.
Feel free to make flip and stupid remark.

Well, we have no idea what Thump wants to do his 2nd term, because he has no idea. We know he going to need more money, and he loves debt, unless he steals it from SS, which wouldn't surprise me. By the time he left the 2nd term, we would be in bankruptcy with Thump.no thanks, i want no part of Thump, and i will never trust anything he says.We know the stink'n cons in the Senate will let him get away anything and say nothing, they have proved that. Anybody voting R after this 4 years of disaster under Thump is plain crazy.
