Winds up 110. Hail. Possible tornados. From Wisconsin down through Ohio and W Pa and down to Virginia and N Carolina.

Officially there were two derechos. Ohio was hig worsg with some 370,000 customers without power. Winds hit 98 MPH in Indiana....IIRC.....and in the 80s in the Chicago area. But not as bad as some predicted .....winds to 110 which would have been a real mess.

Officially by who? Not seeing the NWS it a derecho. There were 3 separate and distinct MCS's that hit Ohio.

Here in Cincinnati, there were 165k without electricity last night. Some won’t get their electricity restored until Thursday evening.

Good thing there were two smaller ones. Probably slit the energy between the two and minimized damage. Predictions were for winds to 110 MPH which would have been disastrous.
