Dems were always against factories and manufacturing in the states because ‘eewwwww, it’s dirty work!’ They wanted to offshore all of it so could buy all the junk they wanted and wouldn’t have to breathe any dirty air. They didn’t really care how bad China or Mexico got because those were desperate people just happy to survive.What dems were against having more factories in the US????

If you didn’t know this - the Republicans are the free traders and its the Democrats that have always been concerned about factory jobs and the American worker.

And they fought Trump tooth and nail about reshoring jobs. Fought his tax cuts, fought his deregulation, fought cheap and clean nat gas. They believed no matter what, companies would keep their jobs elsewhere for the cheap labor.

During the Clinton years all they talked about the ‘new economy’ and how great it was. Offshore manufacturing with a service economy stateside. Based on financial biz and service industry like retail sale, leisure, and travel. They loved pushing manufacturing out of the country.Why don’t you name a single example
