How many Fargo champs will PA have?

Cries of Socialism? Down where I live in southern Appalachia we have a fine tuned ability to do as little as possible and squeeze as much as possible out of the feds / wonderful local governments.

COVID relief gave us money for each cow, dead crops, staying home (which farmers already do), 0% interest on new equipment loans (we got 2 new Yamaha ATV’s), monthly payments for babies, extra payments for farm workers (but, only if we “say” they are laid off), extra payments from the state for the crummy Doublewides we rent down in the hollow, and best of all, debt relief for all those worthless student loans that our 7 kids took out in the 90’s. I worked with a danish Pharma company about 10 years ago. Their health system was superior, but, they don’t pump out the green like the good old USA. I’m sure you will agree that this reply is way too long .... so I’m gonna trundle along and tend my weed. - Cheers!
Hah! You’ve got nothing on the fundamentalist LDS in Southern Utah and the Arizona Strip whose motto is “Starve the Beast” when it comes to the Feds. John Krakauer wrote a wonderful book called “Under the Banner of Heaven” about these communities.

Not only does that board exist, there are direct links to it at the bottom of seemingly every single wrestling thread.

My favorite part of catching up on wrestling news is always wrapping it up by seeing who those psychos think is now eating babies or trying to control the masses...
That board is a nightmare in written form. It’s like every regular there is Ironbird - but they focus on politics

So, anyway, pardon my earlier digression. Sounds like we are bringing a solid team at least. Wish we’d take it more seriously annually in order to shut Illinois up - it generally takes NCAAs to show them what the real pecking order looks like

I have said this before and iI will probably have to say it again, but being from Illinois, we know the pecking order. No one over here doubts that PA has the best folk style wrestling in the country. Many of us (those in the know) know that if they sent their best team to Fargo ever year they would win it also - except for Greco.
That does not mean that we do not celebrate when we win Fargo. It feels good to win a national championship as a team and as an individual. I am not sure who from Illinois is talking that they need to be shut up, but believe me, we have a deep respect for PA wresters.

Dont follow hs as close as I do college. Curious what your top 5 pecking order would be for hs folkstyle wrestling. My "casual observer" opinion would be something like this...

1. Pa
2. Ohio
3. NJ
4. California
5. NY

PA first for sure and usually there every year.
Ohio and NJ can rotate in the 2 and 3 spot depending on the year. Every now and then they can jump to the 1 spot.
Illinois, CA, and NY are probably in the 4/5/6 spot with Illinois being a 4 more than it is a 6.
That is not to say that some years Illinois is not the 1 or 2 state, but it is rare for that to happen.
