I had some time at work this morning. I see four Cadet and 2 Juniors (I think Haines and Bassett both would of won) I don’t think Williams would of.

Do you think the English teachers would of? Not everyone likes to of. Ofing is not for everyone. Only those who are good at ofing like to of, is my guess. Linguacidal maniacs like Rook and Curt is Slow* like to of.

Also, Would Of is for Wusses. :)

Maybe it’s an efficiency issue. One less keystroke (of vs ‘ve), but that doesn’t account for the keystroke for the space. Hmmm . . .

All that said, if our society had a saner view of work-life balance, one wouldn’t have to do so much personal stuff on company time.
Is it society view of work/life balance or an individual person's greed that compels them to work to acquire more things that is to blame? I know a lot of people who have a work/life balance that seems to be pretty healthy. They all happen to be poor, but they seem happy.

Back to the original topic - I would love to see PA be relevant again in the Fargo discussion. For years they were feared and lately, they have not been so dominant. Being from Illinois, it was nice to take the title from them a time or two and then they almost vanished. It sounds like they are back and they will be a force to be reckoned with. Good luck to the PA studs.

Where to start here. Yes, materialism does impact one’s downtime. However, a much bigger issue is how much our country lags our developed peers in basic employee benefits - paid vacation, maternity/paternity leave, sick leave, etc.
For example, the US is the only OECD country to have no federal law mandating any paid leave. So the typical worker is at the whim of their employer.

My company is Danish. The work hours and benefits that we have compared to our colleagues over there are night and day different. It doesn’t have to be that way, but any even mild criticism of our system is shouted down with cries of “socialism”.

Pa grapplers seem to prefer the tournament in N. Carolina. Is it Super 32?

Nazis vs. Inquisition. Who you got? :)

We would of answered. We could of answered. But Spielberg did of answered. Inquisition in 4: :)

Thought this was a PSU wrestling message board and not a bash feast. So glad all the fans aren’t ignorant people. Again sorry, didn’t realize this was like Pat Mineo page

Link us a list of PA Fargo entrants. Let’s get this discussion cooking! I have no idea who’s wrestling and v what competition so I’m not sure I can add much, but I give it a shot

You are basically saying that you want to do less and get paid more. News Flash - we all do!!

I am not a big fan of saying well they get this or they get that and so we should also. If you want to compare us to the Danish then you should also compare us to the Chinese, or Thai, or Indians. They work almost non stop. Many times they send their children to live with their grandparents so the parents can work 24/7 and earn enough money to be comfortable. Life in the USA seems pretty good compared to that.

I feel like we have pretty good balance in this country. Many countries do not have the safety net that we have in the USA. Could it be better? Yes. Could it be worse? Yes. I prefer to be grateful for what we have and not only look at what we don't have and what someone else does. But then again, I accept responsibility for my happiness and the decisions I make. I do not expect someone else to give me something so I can have what I want. That is what a spoiled child does. Hence my reaction to your post.

I have no idea how you gleaned all that from my post - heaven forbid me, as a man, wants our society to provide robust maternity leave like our peers (not, say Upper Volta) to help mothers bond with their infants and aid in their development. How selfish and spoiled of me.

Now, switching gears, we can use your anecdotal examples and compare paid leave policies with China, India and Thailand then. This link is instructive:

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_minimum_annual_leave_by_country

I consistently work 55-60 hr weeks, but that’s a function of my profession. There are numerous studies showing how productivity goes up when workers are provided adequate breaks and periodic time off - and our peer countries providing very generous benefits aren’t somehow going bankrupt.

As a first world nation and the self-professed greatest country on earth, our social contract could and should be much stronger.

You are making the exact same argument people made against stuff like Social Security in the 1930s.

I’m assuming he means the teachers wouldn’t of been thrilled about his use of the past in present tense in a sentence with the same clause.

Have you actually welded before or is that just some random name you came up with? Just curious. Thx

Isnt there a test board, where Antifa and Neo-Nazi's fight it out daily that you guys could discuss this at?

Not only does that board exist, there are direct links to it at the bottom of seemingly every single wrestling thread.

My favorite part of catching up on wrestling news is always wrapping it up by seeing who those psychos think is now eating babies or trying to control the masses...
