How Low Will It Go (Stock Market)

I was pretty surprised he won re-election this past November considering the huge amount of crime in Philly. But the democratic political machine and govt. graft in Philly rivals those of most big cities like NYC, Chicago, etc...so the machine re-elected him. Also a lot of discussion about huge money (talking multi-millions) being poured into his campaign re-election from Soros and other high end democratic progressive donors who want whatever is happening with this whole bail reform and non-prosecution of crime.
That's what I figured. Thanks Cletus.

Didn't Fox News and Russian/Republican facebook memes make everyone on here an expert in virology for the past few years? Now a few hours of Tucker Carlson Tonight and we all have economic degrees? Lol. These issues are massively complex and change daily. People who are experts in these fields don't fully understand it all. It's not a left/right thing unless you want it to be. So when it comes to these issues, as long as people see Fox, CNN, and a few others for what they are (entertainment, not informative), then watch away. The problem is some of you on the right get in way too deep and then we get January 6 and shootings in Buffalo.

Sorry you are paying so much for gas to drive your oversized pickup to Burger King. I would hope there would be more outrage over war, gun violence, hunger, access to clean water and healthcare, etc. Some poor family in Ukraine just had to bury their young son because of a Russian bomb. Perspective.
Dude, you're a stupid piece of shit.

This tread is a perfect example of why this board is now trash. Congrats guys

And your remark is the perfect example of democrat voters. You know that you voted to hurt all Americans, especially the tens of millions that your record gas prices and crushing inflation have driven into poverty.

Your only response is an emotional outburst, blaming others for things turning to trash when it is in fact your own doing. This thread would not exist without your vote leading to deteriorating outcomes for all of America but particularly for low and middle income families who are struggling to balance essential purchases and putting food on the table. But you just want people to not talk about it.

People are being driven into poverty, even upper middle class is losing ground and cutting back. And you just want everyone to not mention that you voted for it.

Why don't you own your vote? Tell us how you made things better.

Your responses in this thread are highly congruent with your political ideology. No one forced you to open and participate in this thread. You chose to do that. Now you don't like the results of your decision and have tried blaming others and argue to shut down the discussion.

Similarly, your democrat vote has lead to known democrat policies that were advertised and documented prior to the election. Those democrat policies have taken a strong economic recovery from democrat governors' unnecessary and extended shutdowns with US average gas prices at $2.10/gal, less than 2% inflation, and over 5% wage growth and turned it into approaching $5/gal gas, officially reported over 8% inflation (though our everyday experiences tell us it's at least double digits and it would be using the old CPI calculation), wage growth back under 5% so net large negative inflation-adjusted growth with workers falling further and further behind, now negative GDP, and driving tens of Americans into poverty for the first time. You did that. Democrats don’t want to own it, have tried blaming everyone else, and are trying to shut down discussion of it. But you did that not only to yourself but to everyone else.

I don't have issue with choosing an action, not liking the results, and being smart enough to change course. People make mistakes and successful people learn and grow from mistakes. But acting, not liking the results, blaming others for those poor results, and then emotionally trying to shut down discussion of the results is not healthy. It leads to more and worse decisions because you refuse to own the results of the actions. If you don't like this thread, don't read and participate in it. If you do participate, understand that no one is shutting it down because it hurts your fragile ego.

Also, you have no idea what my politics are.....

The average historical 1 year forward P/E ratio at the bottom of bear markets is something like 10 times.
We are at something like 16.
I would not expect the index to go that low, given the currently expected long term ” risk free” interest rate being much lower than history.
