Back to back two on one breaks showed the difference between these teams. PSU no passes, shot high and goalie stayed on his skates. Denver nice passing and Jones went down way too early. PSU has made major improvements these past four years, but they still aren't at the Denver level.

Here's what we got...:.HUGE experience for a very young team. Losing sucks but we were a year early by anyone's estimation...so I'm effing JAZZED.

Denver is making PSU pay for every mistake. They are solid. Just look at it as 0-1 times three. Regardless of what happens, a pretty amazing season and, as someone else pointed out, some great experience to take into next season.

As good as Denver is, it doesn't help that Penn State can't seem to handle the puck or make any crisp passes. Penn State is out of sorts.

Agreed. Not ready to pack it in yet, but it is looking like the season will end with a 1-1 record in the tourney.

Which in year 5 is amazing!! This team will be in the frozen four next season.
