Accusations that one skater intentionally cut the leg of a competitor during warm ups at major event.

A representative of All That Sports told Yonhap News that during the official rehearsal period, “Lim was slowly skating on the edge of the rink after completing her turn. Mariah Bell, who was scheduled to rehearse after Lim, suddenly kicked and stabbed Lim’s calf with her skate blades.

....Ms Lim was treated for an injury and was later able to compete in the tournament with a sticking plaster covering her wound.

Apparently it was the American's turn to practice (per the video her music was playing) and the other skater was in the way. No malicious intent here, but the "first to report" media determined otherwise.
