but it was not simply his pugnacious nature and cunning ability with mean tweets that made him important. It was his moral position. At some level, for some reason, so many establishment Republicans had approached these bad faith actors as legitimate critics who were at best misguided and who might actually have a germ of a point within their critiques. Trump, however – having been among them for decades and understanding exactly who they are – read them correctly. He considered them garbage.

It was not so much that Trump fought back as that he made it clear that the leftists are scum.
And because he did not credit them with any moral stature, their slings and arrows bounced off his armor. Of course, Ron DeSantis has taken the same tack with them, refusing to credit them with any kind of merit. And that deprives them of their most powerful weapon – their victims' complicity.

Trump is scum and always will be. Nothing you say or post can change that fact.

Well…if Trump is scum, then Biden and the Dems are the festering globules that form beneath scum.
Trump is scum. If his economic policies were so good, the economy would still be good.

And yet he did, which tells you just how bad Trump was for this country. It's a shame that you idiot Trumpers are blind to that truth.
But he didn't ...its amazing how someone so ****ing stupid like you can't see HOW GREAT TRUMP was and is. Meanwhile the man who hid in his basement because he knew the fix was in is Destroying the economy and country in less the 2 years. Your hatred of Trump has blinded you to any common sense.

I have said before that we tend to get the presidents we need at Election Day. We did indeed get trump because he was a non insider who was willing to loudly call time out on escalating nonsense, and whose dna as a deal maker gave cause for optimism. And he was right about certain policies, though I’d be considerably more reluctant than you to label him some sort of philosopher king. We got Biden because he was a quiet old man who was not a socialist radical, and whose dna was and is as a compromising legislator.

but in both cases, they’ve shown inability to govern at crunch time, and have fallen back on the tried and true strategy of pandering to the extremes

Anywhere I want. Money is not an issue for me, sorry if it is for you. Plenty of part tine jobs available if you find yourself a little short.
That’s great Vic…glad you’re doing well and are willing to pay so much more for everything under this disaster of a president. I don’t need a part time job, but thanks for the advice.

The disastrous stock market is probably going to push my retirement back a bit, but I feel much worse for the millions of Americans that live paycheck to paycheck and have to endure the pain and suffering of horrible Democrat policies.

I was always told that the Democrats are for “the little guy”, but it is obvious that they are just power-hungry totalitarians that don’t give a shit about the little guy.

Inflation would be just as high right now with Trump.
Europe is blaming their inflation on the soaring cost of energy. In the U.S., Biden declared war on fossil fuels whereas Trump would have kept energy cheap. Putin invaded Ukraine twice now with Biden in the White House whereas he didn't dare move an inch on Trump's watch. Trump also advocated for opening the economy whereas liberals called for lockdowns and the ensuing supply chain crisis.

The economics is energy costs were lower during the shutdowns. Even if there had not been government shutdowns, plenty of people would have avoided restaurants, etc. Like me.

Well you’re not very bright so there’s that. I have a functioning immune system and take care of myself so I lived my life as normal as possible .

So help me out here. Your starting QB gets hurt at the end of the first half after throwing 4 TD passes and giving your team a 28-0 lead. Then the backup comes in and tosses 4 INT’s and you lose the game. Your logic would indicate that the first QB sucks since the team lost?

I think I finally understand the phrase “Catch-level stupid”.

One has to be Petch-level-stupid to vote for Trump.

You assume wrong that Trump could throw a single TD.

As QB's go, Trump is like Jarod Lorenzen.
