Ringo wins the best tweet ever with this tweet after taking a "Which Beatle Are You?" online test and the result being he is most like John. He also has a wonderful response to the question "when did you know you had made it, that things changed?" He responded that he had a cantankerous aunt and went to visit her with some other family. He was horrified as he spilled his tea all over himself and her furniture. She came over with a towel, cleaned it up, fussed over how it was no big deal, and for him not to worry. A year before, she would have taken his head off. That is when he knew he had made it.

I saw Ringo and his All Star Band a few years ago. I was amazed how much energy he still has.
I had a friend who used to say "there is a reason why Ringo has to travel with an all-star band and Paul travels alone"

Luckiest man in the world.
He's had several hits:
  • back off boogaloo
  • It don't come easy
  • photograph
  • You're 16
he also did a couple of years as Thomas the Tank Engine narrator. Which is big!
Rolling Stone rated him the fifth best drummer of all time. Several contemporary drummers speak highly and state that his sloppy drum sound is really genius and hard to duplicate. Starr is left handed and plays a right hand kit so isn't the best in terms of coordination...and his wife, a Bond girl, back in the day, was stunning

Yup. Two different ways to be successful:
1. Have lots of natural ability and work hard
2. Have nominal abilities, work hard, and surround yourself with great people

EDIT: added
Ringo Net Worth: $350 million
Paul Net Worth: $1.2 Billion
Elon Musk Net Worth: $167.3 Billion
My Net Worth: a bit below Ringo's 😎

No one is going to confuse Ringo with top 1000 composer or instrumentalist. But he has fun and puts on a good show, and seems to have a good heart as well.

Saw him at this Sugarland TX concert in 2017. Tons of talent on stage, including Philly's own Todd Rundgren.
