I know nothing about "Grunk" but his videos looked pretty impressive. He is thicker than I thought. He looks to be, at least, as a good athlete. It is hard to see arm strength and accuracy without seeing the good bad and ugly but he spins the ball pretty well. Getting that invite, it would seem, would get him a fourth star.
First off, congrats to Ethan on his PSU commitment and well as his invite to the elite 11 finals. The video stated that he was the 8th QB to be selected for this competition.
It will be interesting to see how he performs against the other QB's in the competition including those with PSU offers who elected to go elsewhere or remain uncommitted.
In the composite recruiting ratings, Georgia has a commitment from both the top and 12th rated QB's for next year.
Their previous starting QB Stetson Bennett led them to 2 National Championships was a walk-on. He was surrounded by an enormous amount of talent, but certain positions seem to be a more difficult to evaluate with measurables only.
We all want to see every one of our commits to be rated as highly as possible. But the truth is, how they perform once they get here is the most important and objective criteria.
