FWIW,

Central Michigan brings a trio of Pennsylvania natives home for this matchup.

- Senior and sophomore DB Ronald Kent Jr. and Donte Kent out of Harrisburg.
- Redshirt freshman DL Isaiah Rogers out of Academy Park in Sharon Hill.

Nick Singleton has been announced as Penn State's starting running back. Keyvone Lee was the announced starter last week but Singleton took the first snap.

It takes one play for Penn State's offense to get into CMU territory. Clifford finds Parker Washington - Penn State at CMU's 32.

TOUCHDOWN PENN STATE!

Clifford finds a wide-open Mitchell Tinsley to put Penn State up 7-0 with 8:42 remaining in the first quarter.

9 plays - 59 yards for the Nittany Lions. Singleton had six carries on that drive for 12 yards.

This one may get ugly quickly - the turnover king Zakee Wheatley with his second interception in two weeks gives Penn Tate the ball at the CMU 15-yard line.

An early nitpick (because nothing is ever flawless), the Oline isn't exactly getting much push early on. Outside of that....beautiful start.

With his second TD of the day, Sean Clifford now has 69 career touchdowns. Eight away from tying Trace McSorley for most all-time in Penn State history.

Definitely standing out early on but I think CMU is selling out to stop the run in this one.
Yep, they are..but as Millen pointed out, Juice missed his block on the early TFL....and CW missed his on the boundary run by Singleton. The RT situation will become more of a problem as the schedule heats up.
