He seems like an interesting guy. Known as the Hebrew Hammer because of his Jewish heritage and ability to hit the long ball during his playing career. He doesn't have much previous coaching experience though, but he was th Director of player development for the Dodgers. I really thought that their minor league guy was going to get the job, Dusty Walthan..

It's a dice roll. i'm excited in a way, but this young team has potential. Will have to wait and see. Do they think this is the guy to take a decent young team to the playoffs in the next 2-3 years? If not, why dump Pete?
