Print media should be dead. Journalism is...if it weren't for coupons

and crosswords (and old people) these rags would have no audience.

Bjf1984...it's about time someone put that out there.
Ira Lubert just came back onto the executive committee of the the BOT....after exiting a year ago...Why?

Thank you. Somebody understands that the media is not to be trusted.

Norcross does not own it. He sold his stake and started a rival.

Only good thing about his new venture is Jimmy Kempski. Dude is a riot w/ his stickmen and such.

Norcross does not own it. Yep - link

There had been a lot of bad blood between Norcross and Katz & Gerry Lenfest. Norcross had previously engineered the firing of the editor, a friend of Katz and Gerry Lenfest. Katz sued and a judge ruled in Katz' favor and the editor resumed his position.

Katz thought Norcross wanted to own it

Interesting....TY Evel and mn78. So Norcross sold out for $88 MM...

IIRC, he paid about $50 MM or so for it in 2012. (So he did alright in that deal, for sure)

Sounds like Katz and Lenfest were shocked he didn't want to maintain control.

BTW - A few days after repurchasing the Inky - Katz was killed in the airplane crash. Matching up the dates, it looks like he only enjoyed his stint as the new owner for just a couple of days.

Yes. He made a lovely profit and - in a way - Katz and Lenfest were left holding the bag.

Norcross is either a bad guy or a really bad guy

It depends on your politics which one of the two applies.
