We could use him right now. Guts and heart are worth an extra 1-2 stars. The guy is damn good.

Definitely a hard working player but per the announcers he was frequently spotting Barkley. Yes, Jewel made a lot of tackles, many past the line of scrimmage and Barkley had over 300 yards from Scrimmage, that's three football fields.

He got a good facemask in on McSorley on the one play where Barkely got blowed up real good in the backfield. Watch the re-play. Iowa got away with a ton last night.

He's a very solid tackler. He had the task of chasing Barkley last night, hence his stat sheet looked good. He didn't change the game. Most of his tackles we're after a ton of yards were gained. His INT should be credited to the DE who hit McSorley mid-throw. Jewell was out of position on Gesicki's route, but right place right time to make the INT.

Kid had a nack for getting around our tackles for sure. Weak in run defense, as expected of a true frosh, but he made some plays.
