FC: Stacy Parks Miller is in Harrisburg in front of the PA Supreme Court Disciplinary Board

Interesting. I'm intrigued how Frank Fina is capable of doing a 180 in this case, arguing his client had no legal obligation (let alone a moral one), and has complained that media reports are harming his client. So I wonder if any corruption on the part of the DA that gets exposed will have him all up in arms as well.

The irony in ALL of this, from the same names that keep swirling around in the background, is thick. And it's utterly lost on these players.

But what the hell do I know.

These people are paid advocates. They do whatever the money tells them to do. It is part of the oath of an attorney that they advocate for their client. Think of Lisa Bloom who represented Harvey Weinstein. Her mother is Gloria Allred. As soon as the money was better on the other side, she dropped Weinstein and joined her mother on the side of #metoo. She was well aware of what and who Weinstein was.

This is being held right in Pennlive’s back yard and they had no one there to cover it? Charlie Thompson? Anyone? Shocking.

Wait - I take back my earlier comment. Christine Vendel from PennLive was there. I did see her on the other side of the courtroom, wondered who she was, but failed to recognize her as from the HPN. I usually expect to see Charlie at such things skittering along the baseboards like an O'Possum. My bad, as I stopped clicking on PennLive years ago and interacting with any of their reporting staff....BECAUSE.

I still stand by my overall impression that Stacy's complaining about the use of her emails taken out of context, and these politically-motivated grudges that are fueling this disciplinary action against her - that the irony of her complaints and of the entire situation is utterly lost on this former Centre County DA.

PennLive fails to grasp that concept as well.

But hey, "slapping sounds" & "humane"

Thanks @LafayetteBear
I appreciate the fact that Tom and you guys let me come over here and vent my spleen. Another observation about the hearing - as they opened the courtroom door, 2 gals wheeled in a load of files on a rather large cart. Once we sat down - both counsel's tables were covered with HUGE binders & more papers. During the hearing, they approached the bench and handed out MORE exhibits to the panel of 3 and the court recorder. I'd be willing to bet it was thousands of pages spread across those tables, likely weighing 75 - 80 pounds.

The amount of paper that was present at this hearing to be distributed, taken under advisement, supplemented, and further filed for more consumption, just spoke to what is needed to feed this beast in the Justice system. Put another way, it was the weight of 2 small children tossed into the volcano. This was just a hearing and Parks Miller had been under "investigation" since 2013 iirc. It's now early 2018 and we still don't know what the hell for another 60 days.

So I can only imagine the amount of paper that's been generated only to be tossed into that gaping maw at Cynthia Baldwin's TWO day hearing. I believe a Discipinary Complaint was filed against her back in late 2012. So it just seems to me that this goes past a simple "did they violate the Rules of Professional Conduct" to just burying the other side in processed wood pulp, an endless volley of back and forth filings of such, which just delays the process for years.

Meanwhile - 4 principals had their lives destroyed in a matter of days & and entire community of peopled were torched over a singular lie spun from "slapping sounds" and 3 crummy "humane" emails. Torched by those now sitting before the Disciplinary Board.

I do find it hilarious though, that Joe McGettigan was advised early on by Bruce Castor NOT to use Cynthia Baldwin as part of their case strategy against the PSU3. Of course "Hollywood" and "Porn Fingers" ignored that advice, went ahead and used Baldwin, so here we are - McGettigan has been stuck researching and writing those endless Disciplinary Board filings for his good pal Frank Fina.

Had these ASSHOLES simply left "Penn State" alone.

Alas
