It's hard to say with certainty because of the Menet factor - it's possible (although, IMO, unlikely) that he could walk onto campus in June and win one of the guard spots in fall camp.

I think we'll see Palmer, Bates, Gaia, Dowrey, and Nelson in the spring game and - with potentially some shuffling - that's what we'll see against Kent State. The bigger question for me is whether the line we see against Kent State is the same line we see by mid-season.

As previously mentioned, JF stated that Gaia is a bit undersized at 286 lbs, even though he played last year at around 303 lbs. Don't know the reason for his weight loss since he looked good physically at 303, but there must be a reason the staff wanted him down to 286.
