Bill Kenney is an American football coach currently serving as the offensive line coach at Western Michigan University. Prior to working at Western Michigan, Kenney coached for over two decades under Joe Paterno for the Penn State Nittany Lions and was a graduate assistant for the Nebraska Cornhuskers
 
Pretty cool. Even though it's an anonymous donation, the donor pool of WMU alumni who can shell out $550 million has to be fairly small. Figuring out who it is shouldn't be impossible, if someone really wanted to know.

Pretty cool. Even though it's an anonymous donation, the donor pool of WMU alumni who can shell out $550 million has to be fairly small. Figuring out who it is shouldn't be impossible, if someone really wanted to know.
Given the allocation of funds, I suspect it’s a trust associated with the Stryker family
 
That is an amazing number. One has to wonder why someone would give that much money to a smallish university. One has to think it is a graduate or someone that lives in the area. That can't be that hard to find out who has $550m in disposable assets who either graduated from or live in the Kalamazoo area.

Good on them, though. An incredible action.

Can you imagine the $550 million Sandy Barbour Grand Cathedral for Aquatics (and such)? The ultimate honor for first-rate bureaucratic leadering. She should do it.
