I'm a bit partial to Spencer, Kemerer, and Lovett. There are others but I may not go out of my way to watch

Interesting to see what names keep repeating. Carr seems to be listed the most. Hamiti, O’Toole, Hidlay brothers, and Keckiesen seem to be listed a bunch as well. All of them are big point scorers that get after it every match. If we want to expand our sport more kids need to wrestle like these kids

How do you know you enjoy watching them? Most of those guys haven’t wrestled much this year.
Total matches

Ayala 18 Hildebrandt 9
Desanto 16 RBY 14
Eierman 16 Lee 14
Murin 10 Bartlett 17
Young 19 Berge 6
Marinelli 19 Edsell 13
Kem 9 Starocci 15

Looks like Iowa starters took the mat more often than PSU.

Are you counting matches against High Schoolers?

I really like watching Evan Wick and Keegan O’Toole. Wish we woulda gotten Wick….sigh

As a Hawk fan, I’ll keep them out and add the PSU guys.

Heinzelman: Slicker than $hit
RBY: when not hiding from Desanto he is electric :)
Nick Lee: workmen like, if a man’s work is constant and never done.
Lovitt: Not afraid to go for it
Berge: How can you not cheer for a guy like Brady that has dealt with the injuries he has
Otoole: fun and funky
Massa: He seems to save his best for the big matches
Hidley: Great athlete and explosive
Caffey: another “he goes for it” type. He also seems like he gets incredibly tired and just when you think he can’t possibly fend off another attack he does…for 2 minutes.
Gable: Literally a world beater.

Hiding?

He let ADS shoot and shoot and shoot. ADS had every opportunity to execute a takedown.

This is the first time I have ever said this, but I really find myself pulling for Michigan State. That program is headed in the right direction, and I enjoy watching those kids compete. Even when they are not winning they are working hard and trying to score. I would love to see their hard work pay off this post season.
I agree. One way for them to improve in the future is to increase their fan base. I was at the PSU match in East Lansing and it was probably 75% PSU fans in the stands.

When I was in college, MSU was a team to be reckoned with. I remember in 1972 they had 3 NCAA champions and a couple of other guys taking AA spots. They placed 2nd behind Iowa State as a team. (Penn State was #8) I don't know what caused the decline in their program, but I'd like to see them get back up there in the top 10 again.

To be fair, only RBYs left arm goes into hiding

Carry on..
