At the 14:00 mark he talks about how he owned a pair of Cael’s shoes, but when Cael was announced, Ed didn’t know who he was. At the 16:00 mark he talks about wrestling Cael, being so technically sound and Casey riding Ed for half an hour and he couldn’t get out. Also talks about Casey being a lot smaller than him, but being freakishly strong.

I enjoy listening to Ed talk. Very charismatic. Still love that cradle. You knew it was coming and couldn;t stop it. Two things:
1. Ed started on 80% scholarship and was promised 100% if he AA'd. Cael honored that commitment from Sunderland
2. When Troy was let go, Ed didn't know whom the new coach would be and it was floated that it would be one of the Brands brothers? Guess he meant Terry? Is this the first over recruit we did. Cael over Brands as the HC? LOL

When Ed arrived to Penn State, even as the 5th ranked high schooler (believe that's right), it was DT that was getting much of the attention. Before even wrestling a match in his redshirt year, and after official practices started, the coaches told us at a meeting I had the good fortune to attend what a great talent Ruth would be and that he was as good as anyone in the room. And the rest is history, Ruth is among the PSU elite.
