Interesting how he says Kotelnicki designs plays so that it creates lanes to see better.

I am worried that all the shifting and multiple formations will lead to confusion, broken plays and delay penalties. Takes time to get all that down, especially with players coming in and out.

I agree. but it is much easier to prepare before the season. it is also much easier to prepare before the snap (teammates will set you strait). In the old system, players had to key routes to the defense. Zone, man-to-man, placement of S, Placement of OLB, blitz, zone-blitz. WR and QB had to make decisions in real time in a split second.

If the D is good at disguising plays, lots of thinking to do in under a second.

In this case, they've got six months to get it down.
