In today's politics, it is much more important to vote party than person. These senators will vote the party line in 99% of the bills. You have a handful of outliers like Snow, Romney, and Manchin. But even they will vote party line in almost every case. Oz will be no different.

What I don’t get is the people who complain about Biden, the economy, inflation that still won’t go to the polls to vote for Oz. I get it, he’s not the best candidate (and he’s not from the state) but not voting for him is voting for fetterman. Fetterman will vote for Bidens policies pretty much all of the time (where oz will vote against them most of the time). You can’t complain you hate things and either sit out of the race or vote fetterman- bottom line.

These early polls are often wonky . Shapiro had a lead of app 2% I believe within the margin of error.
The Republicans had an actual primary with a split of app 1/3,1/3,and 1/4 I think so there was a diversity or preferences.
If you look at that and over sampling it’s easy to see the 8 points and why it’s flawed.

From meeting him I thought he was an idiot. I think you'd be right in another year. He's going to have to run right to win and I don't think he has it in him. There's also a question of his health, can he handle what he needs to do to win?

Well Fetterman has you know, lived in Pennsylvania for decades. Dr. Oz lives in New Jersey.

NOt so sure it would have been easy. Fetterman, if healthy, has a lot of name recognition and sadly that is what most people vote on. No R has that name recognition other than Oz. Philly area plus Allegheny Co reign supreme.

I think Dr. Oz has much more name recognition than Fetterman does.

The problem Oz has is he doesn't live in or even spend much time in Pennsylvania. I doubt he really even cares much about the people in PA. He just wants to fly in and get rewarded with a Senate seat.

Fetterman does appear to care about the people of PA. What a concept for a politician! He was the mayor of Braddock from 2006 to 2019 and recently server as Lt. governor.

When he served as Lt. governor he held a town hall in every county in PA, all 67 of them. Do you think Dr. Oz is going do that?
