Wish we were still getting gains like Trump was able to produce. But like most economic metrics Biden can't produce.
Biden created more jobs in one year than Trump did his entire term.

Biden also had higher GDP growth in his first year than Trump did in any of his four years.

No, he did nothing to create jobs. What he did was hand out money, through the Treasury (Congress) and Federal Reserve.

So people received money and they go to spend it. The supply of goods dwindles. More jobs need to come on line to meet that demand.

Here's the problem with that. It occurred by creating inflation. Most people are not better off. In fact some are horrifically worse off. The piper will get paid down the road, with very low growth, a recession, or worse.

Had Biden kept inflation to the 2% level he would have had to deal with high unemployment. The previous president had low unemployment WITHOUT INFLATION.

Dow when Trump took office 19,804 when he left 30,814 an increase of 11,010. Dow jones today 33,248 an increase of a difference of 2,434. Therefore
Under Trump
+229.37 per month
Under Biden
+152.125 per month

Beyond that Under trump inflation was a fraction of what it is under Biden it actually dropped in 2019 and 2020 I believe🧐🧐🧐🧐

There is no way you are going to create real prosperity by decreasing productivity. Energy and regulation are headwinds to productivity. Biden significantly increased the price of both.

Is it really better to have low unemployment if the cost is a lower living standard for nearly everyone, especially the middle and lower classes?

Living standards only improve with increased real productivity. Energy prices being what they are, and now with the US consuming more energy than it produces, one needs smoke and mirrors to say we are better off.

It is not surprising that the government is coming out with "good news," like low unemployment and deficit closure, when in fact both are temporary and both were achieved by taxing the public through inflation.

This is how politicians talk past each other, and fool the public into voting against their own best interests.

As LiondeNittany pointed out all Biden did was distribute Trump’s third stimmy. You know the one that Trump was trying to push through right before the insurrection.

Well the S&P 500 was up almost 27% in Biden’s first year. We will see how this year ends, it’s only the beginning of June.

The RBOB (reformulated gasoline) chart continues to go off the chart.

That is ultimately going to sink Biden.

And for some reason Biden cannot get to the same amount of employed Americans as Trump... LMFAO.. Even with all the money he pumped into the economy.......

Now you've just gone foolish.

Why work when you are handed money? You can be counted among the retired.

Makes the unemployment stats look good, but not the total workforce stats.

And the cost, of course, was inflation.

As LiondeNittany pointed out all Biden did was distribute Trump’s third stimmy. You know the one that Trump was trying to push through right before the insurrection.

Trump and Biden both wanted stimulus. The difference is that Trump wanted it on top of productivity, i.e., the reopening of business. Biden and his party are good with handing it out with shutdowns -- the cause of inflation.

@NJPSU, you can't win this by blaming Trump for the shutdowns driven by the Democrats. Give it a rest. The money supply issue is one side of an equation. The Democrats are total flunkies handling the other side needed for balance and a stable currency.

Stop lying. He has never created a job. Jobs are below Trump levels.

I honestly think he's going mental. Could be from the cognitive dissonance of the Biden administration failing so much and so often.
Nah, he's just dishonest as hell, and a full blown Socialist. Laffy has stooped to his level for politics.
