Directv Genie Mini?

Does anyone have this receiver and the wireless mini?

Have both wired and wireless. Works like a charm.

I've had 2 wireless mini genies go bad in 6 months

And had to fight Directv like hell to replace them

For me, I wouldn't get the Genie Mini...

I think the Genie Mini is a neat piece of equipment that is highly useful.

But, when using one, it uses a tuner on the main Genie.

I'd rather have a full-fledged receiver in the whole-home network so I can maintain the recording ability of the main Genie's tuners.

I have 2 of them. I bought some velcro and attached it to the back of a wall mount tv...no wires hanging.

The main genie has 5 tuners, and you can still add full dvr's to the network if you want. You don't even have to use the full allotment of 4 mini's to do this.
