Well, it looks like Benn Arden's time at the FCC is going to be very short. How dare him stick up for free speech and an independent press. I'm sure the Biden Administration is scrambling hard right now to find his replacement.

Don't conflate the issue. Conservatives have, and always have had, the right and ability to free speech. What is at issue here is the propagation and spread of blatantly false information that has profoundly negative side effects.

Fake News.

They aren't blocking "conservative" views at all.

Bullsh&t. Who are you, or a government agency, or corporation, to decide what people should hear, write, or read? Blatantly false information like a fake dossier pushed by your party and your government? Who is this so righteous of a person to decide such things as harmful?
Christ, you sound the same as those who burned witches and had book burnings. We know what's best for you. Trust us or burn. Now, lets go out into the wilderness of America and teach those savages Christianity. We're the government. Look how we fixed the Negro and his evil ways. Blatantly false information like an African American being 2/3rds person? Or how they couldn't be educated. Or how about our beloved government going after the Black Panthers? Or maybe conduct experiments on them. I could go on damn near forever with false bullsh&t and lies from our government, and you want them to censure. Conflate my ass. Get off CNN and learns some facts and history.

This country is done.

Georgia sold out our future for a meager stimulus check.

The stupidity of our electorate cannot be overstated.

These Democrats (actually communists) now in office will never allow their power to be ceded. This is what happens in a communist takeover. The Constitution is irrelevant to them.

You don’t think the Republicans will win the House in the midterms because the Communist Dems are going to rig the election?

I'm not sure what happens in the midterms but I know that republicans have an uphill battle. The senate will be difficult after losing 2 seats in Georgia for the next 6 years. Other congressional seats will be difficult because Democrats have used Covid to justify ballot harvesting and minimize signature verification.

Senate 2022 doesn’t look good. Twenty R seats up to only fourteen dem seats. Worse, four Rs are retiring. Toomey,
Portman, Johnson(Wisconsin), and Shelby.
Better win the House or we will be the USSA.

I wouldn’t be shocked if the Republicans win back the House in the mid terms. That frequently happens 2 years after a new President.

I see our Democracy failing when Republican controlled State legislatures decide to throw out the vote of the people and just declare the Republican the winner regardless of the popular vote.. Trump tried to get several States to do this in 2020 and he almost succeeded. Next time I think a State like Georgia, Texas, North Carolina, or Arizona might actually do it.

You truly do live in an alternative universe. This is about as dumb a post as there is on here.
There was nothing conservative about the speech or lies that got Trump and others banned from twitter.

You're ignoring the reason he tried to do this. The election was corrupted by the stuff that @bdgan noted. The courts would not even hear of the mountain of evidence that showed terrible irregularities and a lack of oversight. To do so would have created an unprecedented firestorm. The problem wasn't started by Trump. It was started when states, some illegally, changed their voting procedures.

This is why throwing these people out of office will be difficult. It's all about ballot harvesting. Once all of the illegals become citizens, even a legitimate vote will become insurmountable.

When more than half the population is receiving the public dime, more than half will vote for those that transfer wealth through the government.

This is why democracies that do not prevent socialism by their constitutions will eventually become socialist. Then they will die by the weight of inefficiency and the lack of incentives for good behavior (Call it a lack of freedom that creates a lack of productivity.)

Why you won't see this, or wish to deny it, is beyond me. Maybe you enjoy trolling.

Bullshit. Trump said he was going to claim fraud if he lost before the election even took place. The guy is a total con man. He claimed victory on election night when he knew that the majority of the mail in ballots hadn’t even been counted yet. It was literally impossible for him to have determined he won the election when he claimed victory.

If this had election had been Biden against any other human on the planet, there wouldn’t have any claims of fraud. It was a total fabrication to protect the ego of a man who simply couldn’t accept the fact that he lost. Thats why Trump went 1-61 in court. He had nothing.

As far as socialism goes, Trump was no different. He was pushing for the $2000 stimmy payments. He was the guy giving the farmers welfare to keep those states red. He was begging the Fed to cut rates and print money to artificially prop up the stock market to benefit himself and the wealthy. He ran up trillion dollar deficits and did nothing to reform the major entitlement programs.

Your example of government falsehoods are Civil War era policies and treatment of American Indians before the invention of the automobile. Really.
All I’m asking for is truth. Is it so hard for the President of the United States not to lie and make wild unsupported claims about his election loss? Lies like that cannot be tolerated.

I know how you like to say how Trump lies but the only thing he ever does is “embellish”. Example: He exaggerated how many people were at his Inauguration. However, you Dems characterize policy “disagreements“ as lies, and you have a whole army of fake “fact checkers” at places like Politifact, Washington Post, and CNN to emphasize it.

Biden, on the other hand, has done nothing but lie his entire career. Whether it be his education, or his penchant for plagiarizing other people’s speeches. How about his repeated lies that there wasn’t a single scandal in eight years in the Obama Administration. Huh, what? Or his most recent lie about Trump’s Charlottsville remarks. The guy is a congenital lier but you guys conveniently look the other way.

All of you Dems are intellectually dishonest, glad we can call you out.

The old saw is “How do you know a politician is lying? His mouth is moving.” Trump flat out lies. He spent ten months lying about the pandemic. He has spent three months lying about the election. These are big freaking lies. Trump lies about all things, big and small.

The corruption of the voting process occurred before the vote, so think about that and then reread what you posted. Then we had the vote and we saw the problems. It was way to close in swing states to be certain that we got it right, certainly not without looking closely at the ballots.

The courts, before the vote, would do nothing because their was no injury. After the vote it was too late. That's pathetic. There was no way to make a case and have it heard.

Trump says whacko stuff, but I can see why someone like him would go ballistic with the ballot harvesting and corruption of the entire process. We even had news that would have been very damaging to the Democrats illegally crushed by Big Tech Leftist companies who simply want more business with Communist China.

No one is denying Trump's abrasive style, even his most ardent supporters would not deny it. In fact that is something they like about him. But this isn't about what Trump says. It's what happened. No one is going to give a crap years from now about what some former POTUS said. They will care about the policies that affected their personal lives.

The Republicans ran up deficits and I think I made it a point multiple times that I've been against that for the last four decades. But the Democrats are now putting that bad policy on steroids. Again, my views align with conservative libertarians, much like the original founders of the country.

My grievance with deficit spending is that it has created a society that believes in spend now, pay later -- both public and private. This has led to an unsustainable situation in housing and infrastructure.

Now there can be only pain, but the average American still thinks someone else has the wealth to bail everybody else out. It is lunacy, and in some way I am sure that I will be made to pay for it despite being against it.

You always know when conservatives admit to things because they project it all over the place. Democrats want the media to stop spreading lies and conservatives equate that to the media attacking them personally. Pure and utter projection.

It's like when people attack the views of white supremacists and racists and conservatives get upset.

We just had the FBI go after an American naval veteran working for the CIA with knowledge of doing so. The Black Panthers was just in the 70's. Lies can't be tolerated by whom? You? So who gets to censure the President and who is next? What guidelines? You still believe the Russian bs that was totally initiated upon lies and a setup. Y'all believed hookers pissed on a bed. If y'all had a brain, you'd know it couldn't be true because Trump is a germaphobe.

Now if you believe our government isn't still involved in corruption to this very day, look at NY. None here on the left hold Cuomo accountable for an actual cover up. Look at the lies regarding Obamacare and all the sweetheart deals with that. Look at the media, many of which were nearly 100% negative towards Trump. And now you want more censorship. How many in the FBI lost their jobs? Comey writing books for profit? Former FBI directors never do that right out of the position and it's all political. AG's meeting with former Presidents while their wife is running for President and under investigation? I could go on for days.

Yes. By a very successful President who had early onset Alzheimer's in the Oval Office.
